Upon receiving your order, we will begin the process of creating a mock-up of your plaque.

You should receive an initial mock-up as a PDF or JPG file emailed to you within 2 business days.

At this point, carefully review the mock-up for spelling and punctuation.   At this point, PLEASE feel free to request changes to fonts, colors, placement, proportions, etc.  We will modify the mock-up until it's perfect in YOUR opinion.  After this point, changes wil incur additional charges.

After we agree on the design, we will send the design to the foundry*, who will make minor changes necessary to make the deign compatible with the casting process.  In about two days, we will receive the foundry's proof, which will be emailed to you for approval.  Any changes made by the client at this point may be subject to additional fees.

Upon receiving YOUR approval of the foundry's proof, we will submit the art approval and production of the plaque will begin.  It takes about 3 weeks for the plaque to be produced, and then it will ship via UPS ground to you.

* The foundry is the factory that produces metal castings. Metals are cast into shapes by melting them into a liquid, pouring the metal in a mold, and removing the mold material or casting after the metal has solidified as it cools. The most common metals for cast plaques are aluminium and bronze.
